Come, step back from your close view of the obstacles that seem to surround you. Close your eyes to them for a while and create a new picture. Leave the past and the present out of your consideration and make a new life, a new day, beginning with tomorrow. Build it up part by part in your mind and in your conversations and contacts with those around you until you have a perfect picture of the future that is just beyond today’s horizon. Then step forward bravely into this picture; and with determination start your journey along the line that leads to your new life. The year was 2020 AD (Anno Domini — The Year of Lord), two thousand and twenty years after the birth of Jesus Christ. The universe was in reset, preparing for the Renewal of all things known to mankind. And yes, while most humans think of the world as the global earth sphere, or an island within the greater universe, the world as a matter of Life is inextricably interconnected with the larger universal canvas. For the student of universal knowledge and ancient wisdom, the world is viewed through the lenses of the Grand Scheme of Things, encompassing all things living and non-living; All things seen and unseen; And those things known and yet to be known to mankind. Some examples are the billions of lifeforms, animate and inanimate, in the earth’s oceans and other bodies of water, in forests and in space. All of which contribute to human life and health, by providing food, oxygen, essential minerals, crucial medicines, light, and heat and cooling.
